BARCODE MENU


MPS Drivers

The drivers in this MPS subdirectory should be used to provide the =
FS-7000 with support for the Kyocera Multiple Printing System (MPS) =
client option devices such as the harddisk option (HD-1) and document =
finisher option (DF-30).

Using these drivers activates the MPS and the jobs printed using these =
drivers have specific barcodes printed on them. (All drivers are based =
on the Microsoft(R) Mini Driver.)

The BCMENU10.TXT File

The file BCMENU10.TXT in this folder is for printing a copy of the =
BARCODE MENU page that can be used to scan in by the BC-1 barcode =
reader. To print a BARCODE MENU page, have a PC running DOS and from the =
DOS prompt, copy it to a Kyocera Ecosys printer. (The current emulation =
does not matter.)

Once printed, the BARCODE MENU page can provide the most of the MPS =
settings including:

 Setting copy countn Selecting the staple mode and position
 Printing a status pagen=20
 Enabling jog (job separation)
 Selecting the output stack
 Printing statistics sheet for harddisk, etc.
